The next SFB event will be on 2 August.  This all-day event starts with a 10.30 pick-up from Castle Road.  It includes a visit to Edible Ornamentals (with tastings) and Villa Nurseries (with tour of the greenhouses).  The day finishes with a five-course meal on an asian theme using chillis from the farm. Dig for your dinner

Seeds of Change has initiated a new campaign, Dig Your Dinner, to encourage people to grow forgotten varieties of vegetables.  Seeds of Change is giving one per cent of sales to Garden Organic’s Heritage Seed Library.   Raymond Blanc and Kim Wilde are backing the campaign.

SFB members Joanna & Shaun of Edible Ornamentals will have a stall at Bedford’s Farmers’ Market on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  The next Farmers’ Market is on Thursday 10th July.

2nd anniversary & AGM
